Monitor services
behind a firewall.

Status Harbor watches public endpoints and private ones — internal APIs, k8s services, on-prem databases — with a lightweight agent that opens only outbound HTTPS. No VPN, no inbound ports.

WHO IT'S FOR

One platform.
Every team that lives in production.

Status Harbor is the same product for everyone — but it solves a different problem depending on whose pager is on.

SREs & on-call

A pager at 3 a.m. for a check that flapped from one region. Status Harbor confirms outages across regions before it pages, so the pages you do get are the ones worth waking up for.

  • Multi-region confirmation
  • Quieter pagers
  • Region-stamped alerts

Platform engineers

You run the cluster everyone else's services live on. Drop the Lighthouse agent in once — every Ingress and Service shows up as a candidate monitor.

  • One Helm install
  • Per-namespace scope
  • Auto-discovered candidates

DevOps & infra

HTTP, TCP, UDP, SSL, DNS — the same dashboard, the same alert pipeline. No separate "synthetic" tier, no add-ons, no "talk to sales" for protocols beyond HTTP.

  • Five protocols, one product
  • No upsell tiers
  • Unified alert payloads

On-prem & private cloud

Watch the services that live inside your own network — internal admin panels, staging databases and developer clusters that never touch the public internet. A single outbound HTTPS connection from the Lighthouse agent is all your firewall has to allow.

  • No inbound ports
  • Outbound HTTPS only
  • Runs anywhere Linux runs

Kubernetes operators

Helm install, set a token, done. Auto-discovery surfaces Ingresses and Services across the namespaces you allow — onboarding 50 internal checks is a checkbox UI, not 50 YAML files.

  • Helm chart
  • Ingress + Service discovery
  • Checkbox onboarding

WHAT IT DOES

Everything you need to
stay online

Powerful monitoring tools that give you peace of mind. Set up in minutes, sleep better at night.

Private network monitoring

Watch internal services that aren't reachable from the public internet. Run a single Lighthouse agent inside your VPC or datacenter — no inbound ports, no VPN, no firewall holes. The agent opens an outbound HTTPS connection back to Status Harbor and probes your private HTTP, TCP and UDP endpoints from where they actually live, so the same dashboard covers public sites and the services behind them. On Kubernetes, the agent auto-discovers Ingresses and externally-facing Services so adopting a check is one click instead of a YAML round-trip.

  • Outbound HTTPS only
  • Helm + Terraform install
  • k8s auto-discovery

Alerts in two clicks

Slack? Click "Add to Slack," pick a channel, done. Telegram? Tap the bot link, hit /start, done. No webhook URLs to copy, no bot tokens to paste, no OAuth app to register. Status Harbor reaches you on the channel you actually use — Slack, Telegram, email or your own webhook — with alert payloads that include the failed region, response code and a humanized error you can paste straight into an incident thread.

  • Slack / Telegram / email
  • Webhook delivery
  • Paste-ready alert payloads

Multi-protocol monitoring

Cover anything that listens on a port. HTTP and HTTPS for web services and APIs, TCP for raw connections, UDP for game servers and DNS resolvers, SSL for certificate expiry and DNS for record-level checks. SSL monitors warn you weeks before certificates expire and DNS monitors flag drift the moment a record changes — so renewals and DNS slip-ups never become incidents.

  • HTTP / TCP / UDP
  • SSL expiry warnings
  • DNS drift detection

Public status page

Spin up a public status page in seconds. It reflects monitor health in real time and shows historical uptime so visitors can see at a glance how your service has performed — a single source of truth for customers during incidents.

  • Real-time health
  • Historical uptime
  • Branded subdomain

Incident management

Status Harbor groups consecutive failures into a single incident, attaches it to the channel that received the alert and closes it automatically when checks recover. Each incident keeps a timeline of every alert, recovery probe and the exact monitoring region that observed each event — so the post-mortem writes itself instead of being reconstructed from scrollback.

  • Auto-grouped incidents
  • Channel-scoped
  • Per-region timeline

Manage monitoring as code

Monitors, lighthouses and notification channels are first-class resources in the official Status Harbor Terraform provider. Commit your monitoring config alongside the infrastructure it watches, review changes in a pull request and roll back the same way you roll back a deploy — no clicking through a UI to undo someone's 2 a.m. edit. Drift between the dashboard and the .tf file shows up in `terraform plan` the same way drift on any other resource does.

  • Terraform provider
  • GitOps-friendly
  • Versioned config

1-minute checks from 9 regions

Status Harbor probes your endpoints every minute from 9 regions across 6 continents — United States, Germany, Sweden, Singapore, Japan, UAE, South Africa, Brazil and Australia. Pick the regions that match your users or run from all of them. Multi-region coverage confirms outages from independent network paths so a single regional blip never wakes you up.

  • 9 regions, 6 continents
  • 1-minute cadence
  • Region-quorum confirmation
